MODELING OF A FIRE SOURCE IN A PINE FOREST UNDER DIFFERENT FIRE CONDITIONS
Abstract
This article presents a comprehensive analysis of modeling a fire source in a pine forest using modern software tools: AnyLogic, FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator), Wildfire Urban Interface (WUI) models and GIS platforms (QGIS, ArcGIS). The study focuses on the impact of the initial fire conditions - the type of source (lightning, human, spontaneous combustion), the time of year, fuel humidity, wind speed, and terrain-on the dynamics of fire propagation. The work demonstrates how the integration of various modeling tools makes it possible to develop adaptive extinguishing strategies, optimize the placement of fire stations, and predict critical risk zones.
