Abstract

This provided text is already a succinct summary of a study on diabetes management in Mozambique, detailing that Diabetes mellitus is a chronic global health burden, especially in low-resource settings like Nampula. The research, conducted at Central Hospital, evaluated the effectiveness of three structured health education sessions in improving metabolic control and diabetes-related awareness. Key findings showed significant improvements in parameters like Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG), BM and knowledge among participants (mostly middle-aged males with Type 2 diabetes and hypertension) following the intervention. The study concluded that systematic, multi-disciplinary health education is crucial for better glycemic outcomes, patient compliance and psychological adjustment to chronic illness in resource-limited countries.
