Grid-Connected converters active power flow control under unbalanced conditions by fuzzy technique
Abstract
The SVPWM technique is being used in this research for active power flow control in grid-connected converters working in an unbalanced environment. This study proposes an improved VSS in converter-interfaced devices, nicknamed zero-sequence compensated voltage support, to dependably maintain the three-phase voltages at the connection point within the pre-set safety limits (ZCVS). In its compensation, the proposed technique takes into consideration both the zero-sequence component and the active power injection. Unlike traditional techniques, the proposed VSS can be employed in resistive distribution systems. Nonetheless, this work only provides a minimal contribution. The second contribution proposes combining the zero-capacitance voltage source with the limited active power oscillation (LAPo) (ZCVS). sustaining the alternating current host grid in the face of highly unbalanced faults while reducing oscillation(LAPo) to the voltage source with zero capacitance (ZCVS). This capability allows the AC host grid to be supported in the face of severely unbalanced faults while restricting oscillation to a user-specified value. Finally, a formula for the maximum active power delivery (MAPD) of the ZCVS to the alternating current grid has been created. Using the fuzzy method and complementary approaches, chosen simulation test scenarios are employed to assess the successful outcomes of the proposed support system.
