Abstract

The study examines how work-life balance, work motivation, and workplace spirituality affect workplace performance among primary schools teachers in Pakistan. A quantitative approach was employed to gather data on 300 respondents and examine the data with the help of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that work-life balance has a direct and indirect positive impact on the workplace performance due to the higher work motivation. In addition, spirituality in the workplace is significantly correlated with all essential variables which proves it to be a factor that can affect teacher performance. The findings can be accepted by the theories like Self-Determination Theory and the Two-Factor Theory by Herzberg, who underlines the significance of intrinsic motivation and emotional well-being as major factors in the performance. The research paper can add to the body of knowledge in the field of organizational psychology and education management by raising awareness of supportive and value-driven working conditions. Some of the practical implications are promotion of balance, inherent motivation and spiritual orientation to make the teaching workforce become high performing in developing education systems such as in Pakistan.
