Antifungal activity of some vinyl-triazole derivatives against Fusarium Lateritium (W.G. SM.) sacc in vitro
Abstract
Objectives: identification of new compounds with antifungal activity for the phytopathogenic fungus Fusarium lateritium. Methods: the isolation of F. latertium strains was made in aseptic conditions on Potatoes Dextrose Agar medium, with a following identification of the species based on macro- and microscopic features. Vinyl-triazole compounds (DVT): EPS-165, MZ-155, MZ-118, EPS-23 were added to the nutrient medium PDA in concentrations of 0,00125% .. 0,02%, sterilized by autoclaving. To appreciate the inhibitory action of the searched preparations, the method of recording the diameter of the growing colonies was utilized. Results: The compounds EPS-165 and MZ-155 are bringing large possibilities for their use in the plant protection measures against the fungus F. lateritium. The factorial analysis showed that in the system F. lateritium x D.V.T. x concentration, the main source of variation in fungal growth is the D.V.T concentration (34.7 ...48.3%), then the compound factor (33.7 ... 35.6%), which are showing the differential resistance of F. lateritium strains to the action of the compounds under study.
