Conceptual geological model: underground storage for natural gas (Republic of Moldova)
Abstract
In this paper, the principles of creating a conceptual model for 3D modeling of the geological structure and hydrogeological conditions of the location of underground gas deposits in the territory of the Republic of Moldova were elucidated. The geological structure, stratigraphy, tectonics, hydrogeology and geochemistry of underground waters were analyzed in detail. The properties of rocks as a natural gas collector were also analyzed. The obtained data will be used for 3D modeling of locations for underground natural gas storage.
