Abstract

International migration is not without challenges.Destination countries often face difficulties in integrating newcomers, and social tensions, racism, or discrimination may arise when public policies are not well designed. At the same time, countries of origin may suffer due to the "brain drain" - the loss of qualified human resources, which affects the education, healthcare, and research systems in the long term. However, the positive impact of migration can be maximized through responsible policies and international cooperation. Both countries of origin and destination must work together to ensure the rights of migrants and to turn migration into a tool for sustainable development.
