Abstract

Proper upbringing of preschool-aged children holds great significance in the process of forming a well-rounded personality. The nurturing influence on children is the responsibility of both parents and educators, encompassing families and preschool institutions. Hence, both at home and in daycare, necessary conditions must be provided for a child's proper physical, mental, and intellectual development. Music serves as an important tool for fostering comprehensive development. Through music, children cultivate not only musical taste and an appreciation of beauty but also a range of other qualities crucial for shaping a complete personality. Music impacts the development of abilities overall and the development of psychological functions (attention, imagination, memory, thinking, emotions). In the world of the youngest children and in their everyday play, music holds a significant place. The significance of studying the application of Orff instruments in developing musical abilities in preschool-aged children is reflected in systematic review research of relevant literature addressing Orff instruments and their implementation during daily activities in educational institutions.
