Abstract

No-actor. Performance digital. Escena posdigital. Abstract: In 1972, Michael Kirby published an article that would give rise to the concept of the non-actor, a category used to define theatrical performances where the performer's relationship with the character's fiction had been transgressed. For example, real people who performed with their own identities in the shows were used. With a long tradition and milestones like the happening, we are now also experiencing great complexity in this diversity due to the continuous presence of technology. From a postdigital paradigm, where the analog/digital binary is no longer operational, it is urgent to reflect on new post-organic paradigms that merge body and technology, as well as on productions that use simulations of the actor through robots, holograms, virtual reality, or artificial intelligence that seek to fascinate with the indecisiveness of the signs that emanate from them. Keywords: Theatre Theory. Actor Theory. Non-actor. Digital Performance. Postdigital Theatre.
