Abstract

Efficacy and safety of endoscopic submucosal dissection versus endoscopic papillectomy for managing laterally spreading duodenal papillary tumors ESD is both feasible and safe for laterally spreading duodenal papillary tumors.• ESD for LSPT was safely performed without adverse events.• e VM1/X rate was significantly higher in ESD group than in EP group.• However, patients who underwent ESD for LSPT have been recurrence-free.
