On the Asymptotics of the Solution to a Boundary Value Problem for a Quasilinear Hyperbolic Equation in an Infinite Strip
Abstract
In an infinite strip, a boundary value problem for a perturbed quasilinear second order equation of hyperbolic type degenerating into a parabolic equation is considered.Asymptotic expansion of generalized solution is constructed to within any positive degree of small parameter, and the residual term is estimated.
