To Study the Gen-Z Awarness About Digital Investment Assets in Ahmedabad
Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between age and various behavioral, perceptual, and attitudinal factors related to digital investment assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Using correlation analysis (Pearson’s and Spearman’s), the research aimed to identify whether age significantly influences awareness, preferences, and perceptions regarding digital investment activities. Data analysis revealed that while several relationships were statistically significant at p < 0.05, the corresponding correlation coefficients (R values) were notably low, indicating weak or negligible associations. Specifically, age showed statistically significant but very weak relationships with the frequency of following digital investment news, online research behavior, awareness post-COVID-19, and the perception of risk and volatility. Conversely, age had no significant relationship with agreement toward digital investment assets, social media exposure, long-term return beliefs, or privacy concerns. These findings suggest that age alone does not substantially determine individuals’ engagement or attitudes toward digital investment platforms. Instead, factors such as technological familiarity, financial literacy, and exposure to digital finance content may play more critical roles. The results emphasize the need for inclusive financial education programs that address diverse age groups, focusing on building digital literacy and responsible investment behavior. The study contributes to understanding demographic influences on emerging digital financial ecosystems and highlights the limited role of age as a predictor in digital investment attitudes and behaviors
