Abstract

The article examines the problem of forming professional foreign language communicative competence of future specialists in international relations using the French language in the context of professional discourse and intercultural interaction. It is shown that professional foreign language communicative competence is a multidimensional integrative formation that includes linguistic, communicative, pragmatic, sociocultural and professional components, and determines the ability of a specialist to effectively perform professional tasks in the international sphere. The focus is on the specificity of the professional discourse of international relations, which is characterized by a high level of formalization, saturation with specialized terminology, genre diversity and sociocultural norms, which necessitates a systematic approach to the formation of speech and communicative competence. Modern pedagogical approaches and educational technologies aimed at the development of professionally oriented foreign language communication are analysed. Among them, integrative learning stands out, which combines the study of a foreign language with professional disciplines, communicatively oriented learning, which develops oral and written skills in real professional situations, and intercultural learning, aimed at developing sensitivity to the cultural characteristics of communication partners. Attention is paid to the use of active learning methods, such as role-playing games, negotiation simulations, modelling of professional communicative situations, case methods and project activities, as well as blended and distance learning with the use of digital and multimedia resources, which contributes to the development of autonomy and motivation of students. Didactic conditions for increasing the effectiveness of the formation of professional foreign language communicative competence have been studied, including the integration of language and professional training, systematic and consistent organization of the educational process, individualization and differentiation of classes, active use of modern learning technologies, the formation of intercultural competence, as well as systematic control and self-assessment of results. The proposed conditions ensure the development of professional skills, the ability to effectively communicate in international organizations, prepare official documents, conduct negotiations and interact in a multicultural professional environment. The work emphasizes the role of the French language as a key means of implementing professional discourse in international relations and intercultural dialogue, which increases the professional competitiveness of future specialists. Prospects for further research are identified related to improving the methodology for forming professional foreign language communicative competence using the French language, the development of educational technologies, the integration of digital platforms and modelling of professional communicative situations, as well as a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of educational programs in training future specialists of the international level.
