Abstract

The dataset comprises hyperspectral images of biofilm models created with various Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria, and microscopic fungi. Models range in complexity from mono-species cultures to randomly formed mixed biofilms, incorporating both ATCC strains and clinical isolates. The dataset supports research into non-contact identification of opportunistic pathogens within biofilm communities. The detailed description of the dataset and research are provided in the following paper:Bogachev, M. I., Baranov, P. S., Sinitca, A. M., Mironova, A. V., Sharivzyanov, D. R., Basmanov, A. A., Trizna, E. J., Gorshkova, A. S., Pyko, N. S., & Kayumov, A. R. (2026).
