A Heuristic Approach to Quantum Spacetime
Abstract
In this article, we aim to develop an ontologically consistent reformulation of the theoretical framework of Quantum Mechanics by constructing an alternative geometrodynamic model. This model is conceptually inspired by Einstein’s view of spacetime, but introduces a more refined and detailed topological structure. Specifically, we propose assigning a discrete lattice-like structure to the metric of Einsteinian spacetime. This allows us to preserve the continuity of the model while effectively quantizing its geometry. In doing so, we take a significant step toward the quantization of gravity, laying the conceptual and heuristic groundwork for a rigorous mathematical framework capable of handling the non-perturbative quantization of diffeomorphism-invariant theories.
