Abstract

Interaction_credit This repository contains information related to the article "Successful frugivory interactions recovery 53 years after the reintroduction of the ariel toucan (Ramphastos ariel) in the Atlantic forest." which analyzed the recovery of interactions following the reintroduction of Ramphastos ariel in Tijuca National Park using the ecological interaction credit model. Repository structure/Data Inside the Raw folder:Literature_review_frugivory_Ramphstos_Brazil: Spreadsheet with results from the literature review on the genus Ramphastos in Brazil (2016–2023) and data from the Atlantic Frugivory database (1961–2016).Inside the Processed folder:Interaction_credit_TNP: spreadsheet generated by combining the literature review data with the list of shrub-tree community species in Tijuca National Park, thereby creating a list of available and expected interactions for R. ariel in the park.observed_interactions: Spreadsheet that contains the interactions observed in the field—i.e., the interactions recovered after the reintroduction of R. ariel, based on the interaction credit spreadsheet (expected interactions)./Script 1. Credit_of_ecological_interactions_script: Script for building the interaction credit graphs. 2. general_rarefaction_curve: Script for the accumulation curve considering all interactions together, regardless of seed size. 3. toucan-rarefaction.R: Script for accumulation curves. /Output: Figures included in the article, generated from the scripts listed above.
