Seed dispersal and flower colour polymorphism in Anemone coronaria
Abstract
The dataset and R code estimate the dispersal traits (mean dispersal distance, probability of long dispersal distance) of Anemone coronaria based on collected seeds from natural populations along Israel. In addition, using data of current distribution in Israel from citizen science database (iNaturalist), and the WorldClim database, we model future distribution of this species from the next 40-60 years following two climatic change scenarios (SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5), using mean annual temperature (MAT) and mean annual precipitation (MAP) as main predictors. Please note that the WorldClim data is not included here due to its large size. One can download them from the WorldClim website with the names of data indicated in the R scripts. Also, please mind that one should run the script “ane_only_red_SDM_figshare.R” first and then the script “ane_non_red_SDM_figshare.R” next.
