Revealing hidden preferences through fauna valuation in European biodiversity legislation

This repository contains the data and code associated with the manuscript titled "Revealing hidden preferences through fauna valuation in European biodiversity legislation". Specifically, we provide: Two R scripts for web scraping species-level information from the IUCN Red List (via the rredlist package) and GBIF (via the rgbif package); The full R code used to process and analyse the dataset, including statistical modelling and figure generation; The complete dataset used in the study, including all variables used in the analyses.
