Abstract
Video_1: 3D reconstruction of Corallium rubrum histology (confocal microscopy)C. rubrum tissue was stained for actin (cyan), tubulin (green), and nuclei (white) to visualize cellular components. Confocal imaging was performed at 10x and 40x magnification as in Figure 2, 3D reconstruction were performed. Polyps are distinct from the coenenchyma, which consists of canals and scleroblasts. Canals connecting polyps, exhibit cilia and actin fibers. Scleroblasts form a continuous, intricate network within the canal network. Sclerite imprints are visible within the scleroblastic network.
