Supplementary Data for "Recent explosive lava-water interaction in Tharsis, Mars"

This repository contains supplementary datasets that extend the results presented in the main manuscript, which focuses on identifying small-scale edifices interpreted as Martian rootless cones. The repository includes digital elevation models (DEMs) derived from HiRISE and CTX imagery using the MarsSI system, which were employed for 3D visualizations and morphological analyses. Furthermore, shapefiles of the mapped edifices south of Ascraeus Mons and other rootless cones across Mars are provided; these were used for both HiRISE image– and DEM-based morphometric measurements. The resulting morphometric data were used to prepare plots comparing parameters among the analyzed edifices. The repository also provides CRISM datasets together with the derived spectral results, including the locations of the regions of interest (ROIs) and their averaged reflectance spectra. In addition, it contains all datasets supporting the crater counting analyses, including shapefiles of the dated lava flows and mapped impact craters within these units.
