Abstract

PK-RTE-24 was isolated from a ready-to-eat lettuce sample during a screening for extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria. Phylogenomic analysis and pairwise average nucleotide identity comparisons indicated that PK-RTE-24 does not match any described Pseudomonas spp. and falls below the established species threshold, grouping within an environment-associated clade
