Fig.S1. Generation of intestinal epithelial Sgk1 conditional knockout mice and experimental design. A. Schematic of the breeding strategy used to generate intestine-specific Sgk1 knockout mice. Sgk1fl/fl mice (floxed exons 2–6) were crossed with VilCre transgenic mice to achieve epithelial-specific deletion of Sgk1. B. Experimental design. Sgk1cKO or Sgk1cHET received DEX or PBS. Tissues were collected after 1 or 4h for analysis. C. Schematic of the intestinal loop experiment. Closed loops were created in the proximal jejunum and injected with PBS/cGMP.
