Decoherence-Dependent Mass Manifestation: Extending the Persistence Index to
Abstract
We extend the phenomenological framework of the Persistence Index P ≡ H/D [1] to explore theradical hypothesis that Higgs-mediated mass may manifest sequentially after decoherence, ratherthan concurrently. Introducing an Ontological Stabilization Index S, we quantify the probabilitythat a quantum excitation consolidates into a persistent classical entity. The framework reveals threeregimes: robust stabilization (S ≫ 1), fugitive reality (S ∼ 1), and complete instability (S = 0),offering a unified description of the quantum-to-classical transition as ontological consolidation.
