Abstract

This research investigates the psychological and behavioral factors driving the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) among the general public and students. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a theoretical framework, this study focuses on how Perceived Usefulness influences the frequency and duration of GenAI tool usage.Data were collected from 51 valid respondents via an online survey and analyzed using descriptive and regression statistics. The results indicate a significant positive correlation between the perceived practical value of GenAI and the intensity of its use in daily routines. These findings suggest that for GenAI to achieve sustainable adoption, developers and educators must emphasize clear, practical use cases that enhance user productivity while maintaining digital ethics and integrity.
