An Inferential Framework Applied to a Hypothetical U.S. Firm
Abstract
This paper presents an exploratory application of an inferential framework for assessing organizational decision quality through financial statements, applied to a hypothetical mid-size firm situated in the United States. The purpose of the exercise is strictly methodological: to demonstrate how latent decisional structures may be inferred from observable financial patterns under realistic but simulated conditions. The analysis does not involve a real organization, does not claim predictive validity, and does not propose operational recommendations. Financial statements are treated exclusively as surfaces of manifestation through which underlying decisional processes leave structured traces. The contribution of the paper lies in illustrating the inferential logic of the framework in a concrete yet non-binding setting, offering a controlled demonstration of its analytical scope and limitations.
