The Linking Pin Sonnet: Leadership, Continuity, and Poetic Form

This work documents the academic, military, and spiritual foundations of the Linking Pin Sonnet, an original poetic form developed by Dr. Joseph S. Spence Sr. Drawing upon Rensis Likert’s linking-pin leadership theory, formal study in business and management, and reflective leadership practice, the chapter demonstrates how leadership continuity and relational responsibility can be embodied through poetic structure.The manuscript includes a Preface, a demonstrative Linking Pin Sonnet, and a theoretical chapter that integrates leadership studies, spiritual reflection, and literary method.
