Inertia as an Emergent Conservation Process: The Transformation of Wave Energy
Abstract
We propose that inertia is not a fundamental property of matter but a dynamic process of energyconservation. We model the transition where primordial wave energy, under the dissipative pressureof environmental noise (D), couples with the Higgs field to transform into invariant mass-energy(H = mc2). This coupling "locks" the energy into a rest frame, creating the resistance to accelerationknown as inertia. We define the Persistence Ratio PT = H/D as the metric of this successfulenergy package. Calculations in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) reveal that inertia isthe "residual" energy that survives environmental decoherence, providing a new ontic basis forNewton’s second law.
