Source Data for Unlocking Sludge Co-Firing Synergies Between Thermal Power and Wastewater Treatment Plants
Abstract
This dataset presents the optimization results from the dynamic sludge allocation model described in the manuscript, analyzing various cross-sectoral synergy scenarios in China. The data includes cross-sectoral collaboration patterns with associated environmental and economic benefits (Source Data Fig. 2), plant-level monthly coordination of sludge co-firing (Source Data Fig. 3), the temporal dynamics of provincial co-firing (Source Data Fig. 4), and the provincial environmental benefits of cross-sectoral sludge co-processing (Source Data Fig. 5). In addition, this dataset also includes the full compilation of data used to generate Extended Data Figs. 2–5, which provide extended analyses of scenario comparisons, sensitivity checks, and supplementary temporal and spatial patterns of sludge co-processing performance. Furthermore, the detailed provincial-level SHAP decomposition results are provided.
