Abstract

Figure 2 Double immunofluorescence labelling of lipid raft marker cholera toxin B-subunit (green) and EGFR (red) was performed in primary keratinocytes from siControl. Cells were subjected to three experimental conditions: untreated control, MβCD (7.5 mM, 1h) or sequential PD169316 (15 μM, 1h) and MβCD. Merged images (yellow) demonstrating colocalization were exclusively shown in untreated siControl groups, where EGFR and lipid rafts exhibited spatial overlap. MβCD disruption of lipid rafts universally abolished EGFR-rafts colocalization, while PD169316 restored colocalization in siControl cells. Scale Bars: 10μm. MβCD, methyl-β-cyclodextrin; si, small interfering.
