The Role of the Pedagogical System in the History of Islamic Civilization: Research on Extracting and Relying on Psychological Principles for the Development and Improvement of Contemporary Education and Training
Abstract
This dissertation examines the psychological principles of education and human development and explores how these principles can be identified within the historical context of Islamic civilization. Through an analysis of classical and historical sources, the study extracts foundational psychological concepts embedded in traditional pedagogical practices. The research demonstrates that many key ideas in contemporary educational psychology have deep roots in historical educational thought. Building on these principles, the dissertation proposes a theoretical framework for the development and enhancement of contemporary education and training systems, aiming to strengthen moral, cognitive, and human dimensions in modern pedagogy.
