Abstract

Data used in our experiments "Tactile pup loss and acoustic signal enhance selective maternal retrieval behavior in echolocating bats, Pipistrellus abramus."Exp1-Retrieval: Statistical table on the pup presentation experiment. "nBirth" means the number of births.Exp2-MomApproach: Statistical table on the playback experiment.Exp2-PupVocalization: Information on pup vocalizations by postnatal day: number of isolation calls per second, isolation call rate, and echolocation call precursors per recorded audio.Exp2-MomResponseScore: Maternal response scores to playback of day-7 pup calls. Scores were assigned as follows: 1 for entering the playback zone, and 0 for remaining in the waiting zone. For further information, please refer to the tables and figures contained in our paper.
