A systematic review to synthesize empirical evidence on facilitative plant–plant interactions in urban systems, with a focus on foundation, nurse, companion, and co-planting strategies used in urban ecology and GI. A total of 266 independent effect sizes are included compromising 73 unique study locations spanning multiple geographic regions
