Abstract
The manuscript reports high-quality measurements of strange and multi-strange hadron yields in proton?proton collisions at 5.02 TeV as a function ofcharged-particle multiplicity. The experimental analysis is technically soundand the data are clearly presented. However, the physical interpretation and the main conclusions of the papersu?er from a serious logical ?aw. The authors systematically con?ate em-pirical scaling with event multiplicity and evidence for collective or partonicdynamics. This over-interpretation is not supported by the data and rendersthe main claims of the manuscript misleading.
