Peer review Kepler Harmonies and Conformal Symmetries-Gary Gibbons Cambridge
Abstract
The manuscript investigates Keplerian scaling relations by embedding the classical Kepler problem into a higherdimensionalBargmann-type geometric framework. By restricting the dynamics to null geodesics in an extendedspacetime, the authors construct conformal Killing vectors and derive formally conserved quantities. Classical resultssuch as the virial theorem and Kepler’s third law are then reinterpreted within this geometrical setting.
