Abstract

This 3D printed artifact was designed, modeled, constructed, and painted from start to finish as a way to boost understanding of elements on the periodic table, especially those less readily well known -- in this case Holmium, an element known for its highly magnetic properties. This design was intended to make use of popular children's memetic knowledge to improve their receptiveness to learning about chemical elements.
