Abstract

This dataset contains the nucleotide sequences of the mitochondrial 12S ribosomal RNA (12S rRNA) gene, extracted from a set of insect mitogenomes. These sequences are specifically curated and formatted for computational prediction and comparative analysis of RNA secondary structure.
