CMB - Thermodynamic Interpretation
Abstract
Recent JWST observations reveal a systematic excess of massive galaxies at redshifts ( z > 6 ), exceeding both ΛCDM predictions and physical halo limits at ( z \gtrsim 8 ). These observations empirically constrain the cosmic entropy evolution ( S(z) ), independent of Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data. This work presents a compatibility and null-test framework to assess whether an entropy profile derived solely from late-time structure formation remains consistent with established CMB constraints. The analysis enforces a strict causal ordering: JWST observations constrain ( S(z) ) a priori, after which CMB observables are tested without parameter fitting.Early-universe constraints—acoustic scale, peak structure, damping tail, and polarization correlations—are required to remain compatible with Planck 2018 results. Predicted deviations are confined to late-time observables, including gravitational lensing amplitude, ISW phase structure, and lensing power spectrum evolution. The framework defines explicit falsifiable null tests under which Energy-Flow Cosmology (EFC) would be rejected at the CMB level. No modification to recombination physics or early-time perturbation dynamics is assumed, and standard cosmological parameters are held fixed throughout.
