Temporal Validators and Observer Re‑Indexing: A Causality‑Preserving Framework for Time‑Slice Observation
Abstract
Contemporary discussions of temporal displacement frequently conflate physical motion through spacetime with changes in temporal reference. This paper proposes a theoretical observer framework in which temporal access is achieved not through spatial traversal or superluminal transport, but through re‑indexing of an observer’s temporal validation state within fixed space, dimension, and presence. Drawing on the experimentally demonstrated existence of time‑translation symmetry breaking in time crystals, we model time as a discretely addressable validation layer rather than a continuous transport medium. Causality is explicitly constrained to read‑only, ensuring non‑participatory observation and preventing paradoxes or timeline modification. While no physical implementation is proposed, the framework identifies prospective experimental signatures related to temporal coherence and synchronization that may offer indirect avenues for evaluation.
