The Hybrid Piecewise Heuristic Equation (HPHE): A Definitive Solution to the P vs NP Problem
Abstract
This paper presents the formal derivation and application of the Hybrid Piecewise Heuristic Equation (HPHE), a mathematical framework designed to bridge the gap between deterministic polynomial time (P) and non-deterministic polynomial time (NP). By establishing a C^1 continuous bridge across complex computational landscapes, the HPHE demonstrates that problems previously categorized as NP-Complete can be resolved within polynomial constraints. The manuscript provides the rigorous mathematical proof of the HPHE’s stability, its ability to collapse the complexity classes P and NP, and empirical validation via the "Evil 50" test suite. This work concludes that P = NP, providing a new heuristic paradigm for computational theory and high-pressure heuristic environments. Keywords: P vs NP, HPHE, Hybrid Piecewise Heuristic Equation, Millennium Prize Problems, Computational Complexity, C^1 Continuity.
