Genome assemblies of three Myriapoda species; Scolopendra cingulata, Scutigera coleoptrata, Archispirostreptus syriacus
Abstract
High-quality genome assemblies were generated from PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing, with coverage of approximately 46× for S. cingulata, 40× for S. coleoptrata, and 30× for A. syriacus. Read quality and genome characteristics were assessed prior to assembly. Genomes were assembled using Hifiasm, with additional purging using Purge_dups. Assemblies were screened for contamination using FCS-GX and evaluated for completeness and accuracy using BUSCO, k-mer-based analyses, and standard assembly statistics. All assemblies showed high completeness and contiguity, with BUSCO completeness above 96% across species.
