A harmonized global health and environment dataset for reproductive health research, 1990–2023

GloHEAD (Global Health and Environment Aggregated Dataset) is a harmonized database integrating seven international sources for environmental health research: • Global Burden of Disease Study 2023 (IHME): PCOS burden estimates and 89 risk factor Summary Exposure Values• ERA5 Climate Reanalysis (ECMWF/Copernicus): Temperature, precipitation, and climate extremes• World Bank Development Indicators: Socioeconomic indicators• WHO Global Health Observatory: Environmental health indicators• Satellite-derived PM2.5 (van Donkelaar et al.): Fine particulate matter concentrations• Per-capita CO2 emissions (Our World in Data) The dataset spans 1990–2023 and provides complete coverage of all 204 GBD countries and territories for health outcome and risk factor tables. The release contains over 7.2 million records across eight core tables and includes a data dictionary, country-mapping lookup table, and reproducible validation scripts.
