PHI-base5: A knowledgebase to explore fungal virulence genes and host target genes - use of image recognition

PHI-base is a multispecies gene-to-phenotype database providing expertly curated information on pathogen–host interactions. This presentation introduces recent PHI-base developments, including the PHI-base 5 gene-centric interface and emerging AI-enabled workflows such as image recognition to support phenotype extraction and data curation, integrated with resources including Ensembl, FungiDB and UniProt.
