Microsatellite genotype dataset for Ilisha elongata (17 loci, 220 individuals)

This item contains raw microsatellite genotype data for Chinese herring (Ilisha elongata), genotyped at 17 polymorphic SSR loci (IELO1–IELO17) for 220 individuals sampled from 10 wild populations along the Chinese coast.Genotypes are provided in Genepop format in genepop111.dat (4-digit allele codes, two alleles per locus). The file genepop111_FINAL_for_Genepop_HWE.txt contains the final Genepop-format dataset used for Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) testing in Genepop and for null-allele and FST analyses in FreeNA.The sample metadata table (Table Summary of sample information for population analysis of I. elongata.xlsx) contains individual IDs, population codes, sample sizes, and sampling information used in the population genetic analyses. Marker-level information for IELO1–IELO17 is provided in Ilisha_elongata_SSR_marker_metadata.xlsx.A README file is included to document the dataset structure, population order, file contents, and relevant quality-control information.
