Abstract

This work presents a formal operator-theoretic framework for modeling subjective cognitive dynamics within a phenomenological state space. Inner dialogue, habitual thought patterns, and reflective awareness are represented as operators acting on structured state spaces, allowing repetitive cognitive tendencies to be modeled as dominant eigenstates and their modulation as operator-driven transformations. The framework introduces coherence metrics, recursive feedback dynamics, and observer–content decoupling as mathematically tractable quantities, enabling longitudinal tracking of subjective state evolution. While not asserting physical causation, the model provides a disciplined mathematical language bridging qualitative phenomenology and quantitative cognitive modeling, and yields empirically testable correlations with established psychological and neurophysiological measures.
