Abstract

Abstract: This paper examines the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, and decentralization in reshaping global energy systems toward greater sustainability. The analysis explores how these three technological forces are converging to create more resilient, efficient, and democratized energy ecosystems. AI is identified as a critical tool for optimizing smart grids through predictive analytics and demand management, while blockchain enables transparent peer-to-peer energy markets through secure transaction mechanisms. Decentralization facilitates the emergence of prosumer models that redistribute energy production and consumption. The paper discusses the challenges and opportunities presented by this technological convergence, including regulatory adaptation, cybersecurity concerns, and equitable access considerations. By synthesizing current developments and theoretical frameworks, this analysis contributes to understanding how technological innovation can accelerate progress toward global sustainability goals in the energy sector.
