Abstract

Abstract: This paper examines the transformative potential of quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing energy sustainability. As traditional renewable energy approaches face limitations in addressing complex climate and demand challenges, emerging technologies offer novel solutions for optimizing energy generation, distribution, and consumption. The analysis explores how quantum computing enables unprecedented modeling of molecular interactions and grid optimization, while AI facilitates predictive maintenance and dynamic energy management. Furthermore, the convergence of these technologies with Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain creates synergistic frameworks for real-time analytics, decentralized markets, and carbon tracking. Despite challenges including technological immaturity and cybersecurity concerns, the integration of quantum-AI systems represents a paradigm shift toward intelligent, adaptive energy ecosystems. This research contributes to understanding how technological convergence can accelerate the transition to sustainable energy futures through enhanced efficiency, resilience, and innovation.
