Abstract

This section of the appendices systematically presents the evidence base and analytical framework underlying the findings of this review. Following the socio-ecological perspective adopted in this study, the appendices organize the extracted evidence into five interconnected components: characteristics and key findings of the included studies, individual factors, social factors, place and commercial-environment factors, and temporal and contextual factors. Together, these components provide a comprehensive synthesis of the multiple dimensions associated with tourist experience formation in historic commercial districts. The appendices are structured progressively, moving from the characteristics of existing literature to the identification and classification of factors associated with tourist experience. This organization provides transparent evidence supporting the integrative framework developed in this review and facilitates a systematic understanding of how personal, social, spatial, commercial, and contextual factors jointly contribute to tourist experience.
