Thou Shall Not Pass: Gatekeeping Compliance of Outbound TLS Connections

This repository contains the artifacts for the paper entitled: "Thou Shall Not Pass: Gatekeeping Compliance of Outbound TLS Connections."These include:Two weeks of TLS traffic that total 50,744,009 million TLS handshakes. Due to Figshare's space limitations, we provide a sample of 2 days for the double-blind review.TLSGatekeeper.The source code used to analyze the TLS parameters and guideline compliance with the dataset (Section 3 and 4), and the performance and experiments for TLSGatekeeper (Section 5).We also provide the complementary code used throughout the paper:The script used to collect the handshake dataset.The branch of the TLS Compliance Dataset used to obtain the guidelines parameters.XDPPass, the baseline XDP program that was compared against TLSGatekeeper.The outcome of the TLSGatekeeper Blocking PoC presented in Appendix C.*Due to the limited size in Figshare, the intermediary logs from the dataset analysis and the performance ones are not included in this repository. We will make them available for the final version and the evaluation of the artifacts.
