Chromosome-level genome assembly of Ceroplastes rusci Linnaeus, 1758 (Hemiptera: Coccidae)
Abstract
The fig wax scale, Ceroplastes rusci (Linnaeus, 1758), is a polyphagous, globally invasive pest of African origin, causing substantial economic damage across multiple ecosystems. Here, we present a high-quality, chromosome-level genome assembly for C. rusci, spanning 426.70 Mb with a scaffold N50 of 24.19 Mb.
