The Origin of Gravity in Mass-Energy Gravity (MEG)
Abstract
This paper presents a compact, first-principles account of gravitational attraction in the Mass–Energy Gravity (MEG) framework. MEG treats gravity as an emergent steepness-flow phenomenon: coherent, clamped energy-density gradient structures (QEDGs) experience drift when external gradients introduce anisotropy at their coherence boundary. Using two hydrogen QEDGs as the primitive minimal system, the paper shows how each object’s weak-field steepness tail produces an angular environmental mismatch at the other’s outer clamp, breaking cancellation symmetry and forcing a directional closure correction. In MEG, the underlying correction is quantized: “momentum packets” are not particles or propagating carriers, but integer-countable closure-step units describing discrete increments of allowable directional contrast-flow required to restore coherence. Dense packet events coarse-grain into smooth acceleration aligned with −∇ρ, recovering inverse-square scaling in the weak-gradient regime and motivating systematic departures near strong-steepness saturation and Harmonic Ladder threshold transitions. The result is an ontology-consistent origin mechanism for gravity that scales from the hydrogen primitive to macroscopic gravitational behavior while remaining falsifiable via regime-transition and saturation signatures.
